As the aged prophet spoke to the anxious Israelites for the last time, Moses wanted to communicate the most important things—those things which God wanted them to remember as they entered into their new home. In the final moments of his life, Moses revealed the heart of God to the young group of Israelites. He explained to them Who God Is, and What He Has Done. Moses preached the Gospel !

For the next few months the Village Church will be exploring this “Gospel according to Moses.” On our journey we will explore many of the great themes of Deuteronomy: God’s Grace in the Old Testament; How the Law of Moses related to the Gospel of Moses; How the Law related to Salvation in the Old Testament; How Israel was to respond to God’s Grace. All along the way we will discover many ways in which the New Testament supports and restates the principles found in the book of Deuteronomy. We will see how Jesus, Paul, and others interact with the gospel of Moses as they teach others about God. And, of course, there will be plenty of practical applications for our own walk with God—both individually and as a church. We look forward to sharing with you in this journey!
